Nyuddannet? - Få 3 måneders gratis medlemskab af Dansk Musiker Forbund (ENGLISH VERSION INCLUDED)

Ann-Mari Nostrup og Esben Laursen er Dansk Musiker Forbunds eksperter i forhold til dagpenge og a-kasse. In English: Ann-Mari Nostrup and Esben Laursen are Danish Musicians’ Union’s experts in terms of unemployment benefits and unemployment insurance fund.

Er du nyuddannet fra et konservatorie, kan du få 3 måneders gratis medlemskab af Dansk Musiker Forbund.  

Hos os får du faglig rådgivning omkring kontrakter, ansættelser, skat, ophavsret og meget mere. Inkluderet i medlemskabet er også en ansvarsforsikring. Som medlem kan du i øvrigt få dine instrumenter forsikret hos DMF Forsikring. Og hos Dansk Musiker Forbunds distributionsselskab, Gateway Music, kan du få udgivet din musik - uden at afgive dine rettigheder til den.

Dansk Musiker Forbund samarbejder i øvrigt med a-kassen FTF-a, som har et team med indgående kendskab til kunstneres arbejdsforhold og den gældende lovgivning. Hvis du melder dig ind hos Dansk Musiker Forbund som nyuddannet, betaler vi dine første 3 måneder hos FTF-a også . På den måde er du som nyuddannet sikret den bedste start på dit arbejdsliv.  

Som nyuddannet har du faktisk ret til dagpenge. Det kræver dog, at du inden 14 dage efter afsluttet uddannelse skriftligt anmoder a-kassen om optagelse som dimittend. Vi anbefaler derfor, at du anmoder om optagelse hos FTF-a lige inden eller straks efter din uddannelse slutter (sidste eksamensdag).

Newly qualified? Get 3 months free membership at Danish Musicians’ Union

If you are newly qualified from the academy of music, you can get 3 months free membership of Danish Musicians’ Union.

At Danish Musicians’ Union you will receive professional help and advice concerning contracts, employments, tax, copyright and much more. Furthermore, as a member you can get your instruments insured at Danish Musicians’ Union’s Insurance. And at Danish Musicians’ Union’s distribution company Gateway you can get your music distributed – without waiving any of the rights to your music.

Furthermore, Danish Musicians’ Union collaborates with the unemployment insurance fund FTF-a, who has a team with detailed knowledge regarding artists’ working conditions and the relevant laws. If you sign up with Danish Musicians’ Union as newly qualified, we will also pay for your first 3 months at FTF-a. In that way you, as a newly qualified, are insured the best start to your work life.

As a newly qualified you actually have a right to unemployment benefits. However, this requires that you submit a written application as graduate to the unemployment insurance fund before 14 days after completed education. We therefore recommend that you submit your application as a member at FTF-a right before or straight after your education is completed (last examination day).
